How to Amend The Page Title

 

The page title uses the simple text element.  You cannot add html, just text - and the length is normally limited to 100 characters..  It is better to use smaller words, and to keep titles as short as possible.

 

To amend a page title, click on the "amend page" link, and in the amend page either click on the "amend me" button above the element, or in the colour-washes view, click on the colour wash over the title.  This will take you to a page where you can enter the text in a textbox.  Click on the "next" button to confirm the change and return to the amend page.

 

To make your change go live, simply click on the "publish" button on the amend page.  You can also view your new title before publishing using the "view page in site" button.
